Janice L. Germain received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Ithaca College, NY and Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Columbia University, NY. She then received a Master of Science degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. In 1998, Janice joined CJOC, where she has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2004. She has been certified in Intravenous and Oncology Nursing since 1991. Janice is the recipient of numerous awards including the Stanley S. Bergen Jr. MD Medal of Excellence from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, which she received in 2004. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing. Janice was awarded the Advanced Education in Nursing Traineeship Grant in 2003 and 2004. In 2003, she was awarded the Walter & Louise Sutcliffe Foundation Scholarship, along with Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey's Humanism in Healthcare Award. Janice is presently a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; the American Nurses Association; the New Jersey State Nurses Association and the Oncology Nursing Society. |
