CJOC has a Registered Oncology Pharmacist and Certified Oncology
Pharmacy Technicians on staff to prepare chemotherapy and discuss
any concerns regarding treatment you may have. Our Pharmacist works
in conjunction with our physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff and patients to ensure the accurate and safe administration of all chemotherapy and medicines.  At this time, less than twenty percent of oncology private practices in the United States have a full time Pharmacist on staff.  It is a measure of our dedication to excellence that we have a Doctor of Pharmacy
at CJOC.  Dedicated, caring and responsible, our Pharmacy Technicians are trained to maintain accuracy and sterility in the preparation of all treatments.  Ensuring the safe and effective use
of complex regimens, our Pharmacy Department assists in minimizing adverse effects associated with cancer and hematology-related treatment.  By collaborating with sponsors of clinical trials, we offer patients the opportunity
to access the latest developments in chemotherapy.  We also have an on-site pharmacy offering patients the convenience of having certain medications dispensed while at our offices. Click here to view a list of these medications. This program operates in the same manner as your local pharmacy in regards to insurance and co-payments. In addition, our Pharmacist is available for consultations and welcomes patients and their caregivers the opportunity to discuss any concerns regarding treatments and related issues.  Focused on the multifaceted aspects of cancer treatment, our Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians are committed to the best of care for each of our patients.
